You're headed out tomorrow, all fueled up, hoos have been brined. Now you're sitting there, in front of your computer, staring at that warm eddy of water between the Washington and Norfolk.

Knowing that most fish species have preferred temperature ranges, many fundamental questions come to mind:

I wonder where that water is?
What is the temperature at points along that break?
Where is the water in relationship to structure?
How far is it?
In which direction is the water moving?

These are all questions that need answered before you point your nose out the inlet. On top of that, with the spiraling costs associated with our sport, wouldn't it be nice to have this information available to you when making decisions?
